Evaluations notice - 28 May 2021
The Executive Director has initiated the following evaluations under Section 74 of the Industrial Chemicals (IC) Act 2019, to assess the potential human health and environment risks associated with the use of industrial chemicals. These evaluations have been selected based on information that is collected when conducting our Evaluation Selection Analysis (ESA) process.

Find out what prompts us to do an evaluation
We have published draft evaluation statements for these evaluations for public consultation under section 75 of the IC Act 2019.
Once we publish the final evaluation statement under Section 100 of the IC Act 2019, you are obliged to provide us with any hazard information relating to human health or the environment, which has not been captured in one of our evaluations. This applies to any person who has introduced one of the chemicals covered by our evaluations within the previous 12 months. Note, you can flag information as confidential when you provide it to us.
