New guidance and dedicated section on pre-introduction reports

We've created a new pre-introduction report section to make it easier for you to find guidance on all the pre-introduction report types: highest indicative risk is low, low-risk flavour and fragrance blends, chemicals used in research and development and internationally-assessed introductions.

New!

An overview page - Before you start your pre-introduction report which summarises key information about pre-introduction reports for you.

Updated pages and new forms

We revised our guidance on low-risk flavour and fragrance blends along with updated forms.

Who should read our pre-introduction report guidance?

If you're planning to submit a PIR because:

  • the chemical you will introduce is not on the Inventory and you have worked out that your introduction is in the reported category
  • you will introduce an Inventory-listed chemical outside the parameters of the defined scope of assessment and you have worked out that your introduction is in the reported category

Go to our new pre-introduction reports section
