Version 1.2 of the Categorisation Guide released

We've been busy updating our Categorisation Guide to improve clarity around some steps for introducers.

We've also published a new step which deals with checking to see if your chemical is listed on the Inventory : 'Step 0 - Introductions that are in the listed category'.

Want to see what's changed? You can check out the guide's version history.

What is the Categorisation Guide? It's step-by-step instructions for importers and manufacturers (introducers) to categorise their chemical introduction as listed or exempted or reported or assessed. It draws on information in the IC Act, General Rules and the Industrial Chemicals Categorisation Guidelines.
