Written undertakings

Definition

means if an introducer has relied on information held by another person – such as a supplier or manufacturer – to categorise their introduction, they must keep a written undertaking from that person. Information in the undertaking varies and depends on the introduction category and the information held by that person. All undertakings, no matter the category, must confirm that the information can be provided if we ask for it.
