We can help with AICIS registration and general advice relating to the importation and manufacture (introduction) of industrial chemicals in Australia.  

We publish risk assessment information about industrial chemicals and maintain searchable databases such as the industrial chemicals inventory - please use our search hub.

  • We can't provide a list of chemicals that can or can't be used in cosmetics or consumer products.
  • Detailed advice about how regulatory obligations apply to your specific circumstance.
  • Product labelling - please see business.gov.au and ACCC cosmetic product labelling.
  • Product safety.
