If you’ve had trouble searching for your chemical on the Inventory, our new video may help.

The Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (Inventory) is a searchable database of about 40,000 chemicals. Checking if your chemicals are on the Inventory is the first step for all industrial chemical importers and manufacturers (introducers) to work out which AICIS category applies to their introduction.

Our video, called Tips on searching for chemicals on the Inventory, recommends the best ways to search, what it could mean if you don’t find your chemical and what to do if you don’t get a result.
