How much is my registration cost?
You must calculate the value of industrial chemicals that you imported or manufactured in the previous financial year to work out your registration level. You can use the AICIS Registration Calculator on this page, a spreadsheet like Microsoft Excel or you can manually calculate the introduction value.
What is the registration cost?
The cost of your registration depends on the value of relevant industrial chemicals that you imported or manufactured in the previous financial year (30 June - 1 July). It is not based on your sales or profit figures.
Your registration cost consists of a low flat fee that all industrial chemical importers and manufacturers (introducers) pay, plus a charge that varies according to the value of industrial chemicals you introduced (imported or manufactured) in the previous financial year. There are 8 levels of registration charges. Level 1 registrants pay the fee, but do not pay a charge.
If you're registering for the first time and didn't import or manufacture any industrial chemicals last financial year, you are 'Level 1'.

If you’re unsure, read 'Introductions that don't require categorisation and registration' and you can also use our decision tool – do I need to register with AICIS?
