2026 Categorisation Guidelines coming on 1 September 2026

The AICIS Executive Director will issue the next annual release of the Industrial Chemicals Categorisation Guidelines, which will take effect on 1 September 2026.

The main changes will include updates to the list of chemicals with high hazards for categorisation. 

We will also update our step-by-step online Guide to categorising your chemical importation and manufacture from 1 September to reflect the changes.
