The polymer has been assessed:

  • as imported into Australia at up to 1 tonne/year
  • as imported into Australia neat as a liquid, or at up to 8% in masterbatch pellets
  • for end use in the production of plastic and polymer products at a concentration of up to 0.15%, including for use in articles intended for food contact use.
  • when used in articles intended for food contact use:
    • the polymer is not included in articles in contact with infant formula or human milk
    • the polymer has a low molecular weight fraction (less than 1000g/mol) of up to 13% concentration
