All new and returning registrants can now register for 2026–27 in AICIS Business Services.
You must register with us before you introduce (import or manufacture) industrial chemicals in Australia on or after 1 September 2026. This applies to all businesses, sole traders and individuals introducing industrial chemicals for commercial purposes, including products containing industrial chemicals.
Remember, it’s an offence under the Industrial Chemicals Act 2019 to introduce an industrial chemical without an active AICIS registration.
You need to work out your registration level first to find out the fee and charge for 2026–27.
To do this, use our calculator to work out your registration level based on the total value of industrial chemicals you imported or manufactured during the previous financial year (1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026).
If you're registering for the first time and didn't import or manufacture any relevant industrial chemicals last financial year, you are 'Level 1'.
If you’re new, read our guidance on how to create an account and register. If you’re renewing, log in to the AICIS Business Services portal and click on ‘Registration’ then select 2026–27.
