Past registrants must provide information about any introduction of 522 listed PFAS between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2025

Everyone registered with us in 2023-24 or 2024-25 was sent a notice about the requirement with a unique link to an online form to provide us information. This is because AICIS is evaluating the introduction and use of 522 per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in Australia.

We help protect Australians and our environment by assessing the risks of importing or manufacturing (introducing) industrial chemicals and promoting their safe use. We focus on chemicals, polymers, ingredients of products used in printing, plastics, mining, construction, paints, adhesives, consumer goods, cosmetics and more.
